Cambridge, ON | November 17, 2022 – Today, ÃÛÌÒtv and The ÃÛÌÒtv Foundation announced that a record $180,000 was raised at the Annual ÃÛÌÒtv Charity Classic golf tournament held in September at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario.
The past few years have been filled with challenges that have impacted everyone. Some of the most profoundly affected in our communities have been those already needing support. Making children’s mental health a priority again this year, ÃÛÌÒtv selected Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) as this year’s Charity of Choice. “Giving back to our community is a big part of who we are, and after a challenging few years, especially for the younger generation, it made sense to continue to support children’s mental health,” says Janet Peddigrew, President of ÃÛÌÒtv. “That’s why the choice to partner with CMHO was easy.”
ÃÛÌÒtv annually hosts the ÃÛÌÒtv Charity Classic golf tournament in Southwestern Ontario in support of Canadian non-profit organizations. The ÃÛÌÒtv Foundation generously matches funds raised at the tournament each year.

The funds raised from this year’s tournament will go toward the Children’s Mental Health Ontario peer support initiative, which helps caregivers and parents of children with mental illness find connection and support.
